Kölln-Reisiek is situated in Hamburg's northwest and borders directly at the town of Elmshorn.The village is located west of the federal motorway A 23 and south of the river Krückau.
It consists of the village parts Reisiek and Kölln.

In the beginning the village consisted just of agricultural buildings and developed over time.
Many people worked in Hamburg beschäftigt and lived in Kölln-Reisiek.

Kölln-Reisiek has a population of 2700 and has a surface area of ca. 7 km².
